My family began attending church faithfully when I was young.  I am thankful to God that my parents raised me in church, and really encouraged my brother and I to live for Christ. I accepted Christ Jesus as my Savior at home one night when I was fourteen years old. I knew that I was lost and needed to be saved.  Before I went to sleep that night, I prayed and asked God to forgive me of my sins, and I asked Jesus to save me.  When I was twenty years old, God called me to preach.  From there I went on to Bible college to study for the ministry.  In the summer of 1999, God opened His door of opportunity for me to become the Youth and Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church.  Melissa and I were married in
December of 1999, and we served the Lord together there for over 15 years. During this time, God blessed us with a wonderful daughter, Kiera.  She has been such a joy and a blessing to our lives. After serving the Lord at Cornerstone, God called us to Florida to pastor at Gulf Shores Baptist Church.  My family and I served the Lord there for a little over two years.  We are thankful for God's blessing during that time. While in Florida, God began to deal with us about working with the ministry of All Points Baptist Mission.  Over a period of about three months, God confirmed this call to each of us through prayer and His Word.  It was during this time of transition that God showed to us the need for the Heirloom Seed Project.  I heard Bro. Robbie Morrison share his heart about the need to help the teenagers of missionary and military chaplain families because of the problems and struggles they often deal with.  As I listened, God broke my heart for this need.  It was through this burden, that God placed us into this work of the Heirloom Seed Project.  Working with these young people and alongside of these families has been such a blessing for us.  We have watched God do some amazing and wonderful things, and we are so thankful to Him for all He has done!  To God alone be the glory!

My name is David Miller. I was raised in a pastor’s home in Pasco, WA. I came to know Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 5 at my church’s Vacation Bible School. It was there that I understood that I was a sinner in need of a Savior, that this Savior I needed was Jesus, and that all I had to do was ask in faith believing. This I did, and my life has never been the same. I was introduced to the Heirloom Seed Project at the age of 14 at All Points Baptist Mission’s AMCT conference when my family was transitioning from the pastorate to Air Force Chaplaincy. It was there that my family was introduced to Ryan and Melissa Overfelt and the Heirloom Seed Project. The Project would end up having a great impact on me as a teenager, for which I am very grateful.
After high school, I attended Crown College, in Powell, TN with a major in Youth Ministry. It was at Crown that I met my wife, Abby, and we got married just before the beginning of my senior year. It was during Christmas break of my senior year that I reconnected with the Overfelts, and they shared what God had been doing through the Heirloom Seed Project and their heart for the Project’s future. The Holy Spirit moved our hearts and captivated our minds with this ministry, and it was on New Year’s Day, 2025 that God settled our hearts, and confirmed His calling in our lives to minister in the Heirloom Seed and Royal Seed Project ministries. I graduated that May and moved to Crossville, TN that September to begin working with them in earnest. We are so pleased to now attend and be sent out of Cornerstone Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Mike Kerley and are so excited for what God has in store for the future as we have the privilege of taking part in this great work!

My name is Abigail Miller. I had the privilege to grow up in a Christian home. My parents were both faithful lay people in my church growing up and instilled a love of serving God in my heart. At the age of 5, I made a profession of faith; however, I did not truly understand what it meant to accept Christ as my Savior. I knew all the words to say and things to do but did not have Christ residing in me. It would not be until I was about 11 years old that I would come to acknowledge that I had been “playing Christian”. It was in my childhood living room, after much conviction from the Holy Spirit, that I asked my mother to walk me through how to be saved. It was that day that I asked Jesus to become my personal Savior and from that day forward I knew for sure that Christ had paid for my sins and I was eternally secure in Him. At the age of 17, I surrendered my life to the Lord. He led me to Crown College, where I would eventually meet my husband. Through much Bible reading, prayer, and the Holy Spirit’s leading, we would join the Heirloom Seed Project on January 1st, 2025. I am so thankful that the Lord has given us the opportunity and privilege to serve Him in this special ministry and look forward to what He has instore for the Heirloom Seed Project
